It's a little funky I know but just mess around with deleting or adding in that column until u get him in the spot you want. When u add that minute for Simmons, it will then be less likely to add him as a SF also. In the same vein, make sure someone else already has a minute in that column for SF if u don't want Simmons to play SF. For example if someone else is already showing PF and u want him to play PF, delete the other player's minute for PF. Make sure someone else doesn't have the same minute for the position that u want Simmons to play. The only issue I've run into with that is changing positions freely.
